Whats your experience with Affiliate Marketing using Ads?

OK, so let's get into the reality of using paid ads for affiliate marketing, as far as the realities are nowadays.
If the affiliate marketing niche(s) is / are highly profitable niches, then these are all nowadays dominated by ad whales.
What an ad whale does, is click the shit out of all other ads, thereby draining other advertisers daily budgets AND the ad whales run their own respective MULTIPLE domains (websites) and dominate the keywords pertaining to various highly profitable affiliate marketing niches.
Therefore, what some (or many) advertisers do is use churn and burn accounts (example churn and burn Google Ads threshold accounts), so that their advertising costs are low and can support all the fraudulent clicks done by the ad whales. Ofcourse, effective campaign tweaking can also minimize the attraction of fraud clicks. As far as these fraud clicks are concerned, the ad whales utilize sophisticated systems and no one (not even Google Ads) can stop such fraudulent clicks from happening.
Which platforms are the best ? Google Ads, Facebook Ads. however, depending on the niche(s), do not expect low CPCs, but rather think of lowering your ad costs (as explained already above).
