What's Your Exit Strategy? (Crypto)

Everyone's a winner in a bull run.

I remember being on here last January and everyone was predicting a 50k BTC by March so I would assume BTC surpassed all our expectations.

While waiting for another week or 2 might increase your portfolio, there will always be that 2017 feels that it could snap at any given time.

Have you guys ever considered cashing out already? What's your exit strategy?

When my ETH doubled, I withdrew my initial investment, so it's all play money. If at the end of the year it's reached the magical $10k I might take some more profits or even just cash the lot.

BTC likewise, I'm happy to sit on this as it's currently the number 1 coin.

10 - 20% exits per 3 - 7 days at around the right point based on STF, in the last 50% adding shorts as well with progressively higher leverage (1:1 beginning + 0.25 each time).

Hard close of shorts and re-entry at 12 months from peak, prep for next run.

You remind me of what my dad would say. No technical analysis needed just fundamentals and a touch of common sense. Hard to lose with this method. haha Thanks for your input!

No probs mate - some youtubers are awesome though like Coin Bureau. Very legit advice from that channel, they picked a majority of the best returning cryptos over the last 6 months+ and really understand the market.
 
I just periodically update my stoploss triggers that's it. I can afford to be invested in this for real long time.
 
I'm cashing out at least 50% of all ETH I have at $5k per coin or when the total market cap of all coins get to 5.5 trillion $.

I get the $10k per coin idea, but as a comparison doge didn't get to the expected $1 yesterday.
 
For most of my investments, once is x3 I sell my investment, then I forget about the coins.

Still, because of my FOMO, I have some shitcoins stuck, I set up auto sell at 1.5, no hard feelings as it's a small amount.
 
I've invested most of my portfolio on ETH and planning to keep it for at least 2 years. I'm on the long run here. Also planning to invest on ADA and BTC.

Also gambling on shitcoins, but I can't call it "investment".
 
I am shorting most of my coins and will rebuy at bigger dips to form a better position with 50% of the money I cashed out - the other 50% is reserved for the bear market.
 
I think a good gauge is to look at the activities on BHW forum with regards to Crypto. When there are many threads talking about crypto, it is time to sell and take profit. Especially when suddenly many crypto starts appearing on this forum and giving advices on what crypto to invest..
