What's your email conversation rate?

Question for any email marketing pros here.

What is your average conversion rate when emailing your list? 0.2%? 5%?

I expect it to vary wildly so I'm just curious.

And is it opt in or scraped?

That's quite a ridiculous question.
Assume that you have a list of people who are "hooked" on your products/services, then the CR will be much higher than a list of random emails

Why's it a ridiculous question? Anyone who's been sending to a list will know their own conversion rate surely?

A better question would go like this:

"I have an email campaign, but my conversion rate is X% , is this good or bad?"

If you provide us with more details on how you obtained your list, how often you engage, etc... then we can provide some valuable feedback
