I want to be rich to the point where I can walk into tesco and buy anything they stock without worrying about it.

OP ur dreams are too small. there's a saying "most people fail not because they dream big and their dreams don't become true but because they dream too small and they do become true". If a DSLR and iphone are ur dreams... dream fukken bigger mate. You can buy that shit with what you make in a day if you get it all right and dont earn peanuts.
Some others here have dumb dreams. You will say is not my place to say that but let me explain. Making the mistake to think the reason you dont get hot girls is that you lack money is simply wrong. Another mistake is to think having one woman/day will make you happy. It won't. It might give your ego a boost but that's it.
$1mil supersport cars... you will get bored of it after 1 month. That applies to anything you buy. You will subconsciously deceive yourself you still like it past that month and it will tickle your ego and maybe give you the illusion of happiness but in reality it wont make you happy.
To conclude my idea, i don't say what some of you dream of is crap because of what those things are but because of the REASONS you want them. YEah, go and buy a $1mil car if you want. Buy it as a toy. But don't delude yourself into thinking it will make you happy. It will make you joyful, pumped, smyling but not trully happy at the core.
Happiness is a state of mind and needs NOTHING material to be achieved. Until you get to be happy with nothing, no material things no matter how expensive or flashy will give you happiness.
