I’ve been testing a few new outreach templates lately — and noticed a wide swing in acceptance rates (anywhere from 5% to 30%).


Curious — what’s your average response/acceptance rate for cold guest post outreach these days?


Do personalized pitches still work best? Or are you automating everything?

Not sure if this is AI written or improvised with AI, but getting upto 30% acceptance rate is no joke. Lets discuss what strategy you are working on. May be community can benefit from it. Mine always stays 3 to 5 %
 
Personalized outreach still beats automation by a mile. If you’re hitting 20%+, you’re doing well. Less spammy, more research into the recipient’s work that’s key.

Personalized outreach continues to deliver stronger acceptance rates because it signals relevance and intent more effectively than fully automated templates
 
personal still wins. 5–15% avg if mass-blast, 20–30% if tight personalization + niche match. automation ok for first skim, but real replies need context: reference their content, drop a micro insight. random template = trash.
 
I’m averaging around 15% lately. Personalized outreach still performs better for me especially when the site is niche relevant and the domain is properly warmed up.
 
Customized pitch is always better! My response rate is between 5% - 15%.
Webmasters always want a fee to have your draft posted.

Short, specific, and showing real value

Full automation usually drops the response rate

I have been trying to get better at outreach for the past few weeks and it is been tough. I am really glad you asked this because I am still figuring out what actually works.
