Hey mate - I wrote a thorough response in this post:https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/cpa-in-the-2020s-common-questions-answers.1312521/

For your convenience 10% conversion appears high so if you still aren’t profitable you’ll need to focus on improving Landing Page CTR, decreasing the cost of your traffic source through bidding or asking for a pay bump on your promoted offer.

To improve landing page CTR do the following:

Depends on the niche but a "good" Landing Page CTR can be as high as 30-50%

Overtime though CTR is not nearly as important as conversion rate.

In order to improve your CTR look at the following:
  • Page speed (use free tools like GT metrix for this)
  • Compress your images and use the least code possible (this makes wordpress or wix a no go)
  • How similar your presale is to the offer page e.g. same colours and pictures so it "flows"
  • Test multiple pre-sale pages and see which one performs best
  • You can also look at Spy tools to click on ads and see which landing pages others are using
  • Spelling mistakes and errors that make it lose credibility (this is very easy to do when translating languages)
