What's your best/average CTR on Facebook Ads?

In the past month or so?

I was getting a 1.5 CTR at the start of last year on a 1m+ target, but the ad copy always gets disapproved these days.

i personally never got %0.062 .. but im still starting on fb ads

My personal notes below:

Above 0.1% is good.

Ads aren't getting impressions?
-Try bidding below the maximum suggested (don't bid over the maximum)
-Test CPM bidding

Ad Fatigue
After a while people will decide weather to click on your ad or not, so eventually clicks will start to drop.

Dealing with it:
-Rotate ads(different imagages/promieses)
-After running the original ad for a week, turn it off and turn in on 3-4weeks later..

you can do split testing with ads. (with hypertracker/analitycs)
make 2 ads and run 30clicks each. And keep running the better ad.

1.5% CTR on facebook? you mean .15% no? cuz 1.5% is just insane.

Just check my stats and it was ranging from .15 - .25%

biggest issue is getting the damn ads approved.

i have to swap out a ton of campaigns with new tracking and they are ALL getting declined....

I feel your pain, submitted 100 ads earlier.. all got denied for no apparent reason. Submitted another 100 just now, fingers crossed.

The best I've managed to get so far, in the early stages of testing my campaign is 0.71% ctr. I'm going to split test around ten ads as soon as my landing page is finished though & see how that goes.

just started my fb campaign today my best record is 0.057 how the hell did you guys get CTR that high?

My best is 0.98% - That did NOT last long though - haha, maybe 1 day?

My best sustainable camp lasted about 2-3 months ---> CPM, for the win

Dont give up and just keep testing and testing!!

@darkmath how does it come that you only pay 0.02-0.05 cents per click ?
Myself i have no issues getting ads approved but the traffic from fb doesnt convert even i'm writing the name of the product on the ads

Hey Unknownn -

The cpc is between .02 - .05 cents per click because of the high CTR.
Since I tend to bid low with CPM ads anyway, I end up getting a low cpc.
I try to target closely as well...I will be the first to say that these ads a difficult to scale.

Can't believe you got 20m+ impressions with a .65% CTR! Well done.
How recent was that campaign? USA?
Was it easy enough to get your ad copy approved?

Well, I must be facebook's bigges dumb as*, I have spent close to a grand on facebook ads i send them all to different cpa offers and i am yet to see a single conversion, I must be doing something wrong.
any help..

A grand? Hold shit.. and NO conversions? Where sending them to a CPA/SALE offer rather than CPA/LEAD?

Even if you where paying full bang for your buck.. It would be pretty impossible to spend a $1000 without even a single conversion for per/LEAD.. unless the offer was terrible, you sure you had everything setup right? Check with your network if the offers actually working and what the average CR is.. quite a few networks are run by a small number of employees and with thousands of offers an advertiser can pull out quite quickly and they'll not have noticed until after you complain about no conversions.

Back to the point though.. facebooks a bitch.

Yea, I was sending the traffic to a CPA/Sale page, like Mortagage refi, Printer Ink, stuff like that.
Do you think if I send it to a ******* page it may actually convert?
should I do a single offer or locked content?
I'll take any help I can i have to beat FB at this and get some og my money back.
So far I am FB Biatch, lol

Ah that's your problem then, it works best for offers they don't have to pay for, even if your traffic is supper targeted it's best to offer them a freebie and reel them in slowly!

Not these days, first you'll have a hard time getting approved and it won't be worth it to cloak. I did a content gateway over a farmville guide when it was hot was getting really cheap clicks but people weren't taking the time to do the offers, they just didn't seem to want it that much.. Looking back I suppose I should have built them up a bit.. clicking on an ad and then getting redirected to a page saying fill out this offer to get the guide isn't too enticing.
