What's your 6 month plan for link building?

What's up?

I'm curious if anyone's willing to share his... ugh well a six month plan when starting for a new client from scratch. How many citations on directories, on how many articles do you post backlinks? On how strong sites? Weekly? Do you use PBNs? How often? Etc.

Your... well.. Strategy/Plan for the first six months?

Why not? We are organizing PBN's and content writers & we leave citations and do email marketing for getting backlinks.
Are you doing something else? Is that not the basics of SEO? I see you're a seller. We are also selling our product to these companies and get a percent of every leed.

I've just started with EM. A year ago, did a little bit of scraping, sending emails. Pretty much a noob.

Interesting. Only thing I can remember besides onpage would be social media marketing/shares.

Don't think anything else affects rankings that much
 
if i am starting from scratch, 6 months might be long enough to create a PBN of 100 domains, the cost depends on what type of domains you want, but it should work even for medium comp niches.

You do citations and post unique, SEO optimized content regularly? Link building within between PBNs? Are they on the same hosting? Dedicated IP? Sub-net?

I don't build links to my websites, I just wait for them to build themselves. This one time I got a link off Ask.com, cos somewhere out there someone is still using ask.com.

I'm a noob so don't mind me asking. How are you waiting for them to be built by themselves? By writing top-notch content, relying on social media shares and keywords? Only keywords?

Sorry, I was joking. You need to build links to sites to rank. If you don't, you tend to end up with shit links.

But what's your strategy? Do you post 10 high quality articles on ... TF: 20 + CF: 20 + sites and do 5 citations on 5 high quality free directories a month? You build every sites own PBNs? Unique content on them as well?

Well i am talking about the correct way of doing things, not the must way of doing it, most people do it differently.

1. i don't do citation, unless you are trying to rank for local search, those are pretty worthless imo.
2. Yes, i upload content daily, it is a part of the game now, it is one of the way to increase your domain authority that you don't have to mess too much with links.
3. Nope, don't be stupid and build links between your PBN, that will pull up your whole network in less than 1'.
4. No need dedi IP, there are many ways around this tbh, but the safest way is host them all in different hosts.
5. NOticed you mentioned TF20/CF20 domains, don't waste your time, you can find ton of weak domains with that stats, but legit one will cost at least 200-300$ per domain.

It helps a lot. I just don't follow. If I want to take on 5 new clients this month in the same niche. Doing them SEO locally. I'd need to build 100 PBN's over the course of 6 months for each one of them. And then post content on each on of them? What is your content? SEO Optimized Articles? Writing 2 articles for 100 PBN's a week. That's 200 texts a week? What is your content? You build the whole site on your own backlinks for every client/site you do SEO for? And you build those sites purely on content? Do you use social media/email marketing/etc.?

Ohhhhh if you are doing SEO for your clients then the situation is very different, i don't do SEO locally so i can't really give you much information about that. You are correct, local SEO involves alot of local citations. BUt that is pretty much all i know about local SEO lol sorry about that.

1. regarding to your PBN, yep you should add content frequently and treat them as your money site. It depends on the quality of my domains, for crazy good domains, i keep everything original with high quality content (to be honest this is the right way).

2. For weak domains that only has handful of links (RD10-20), i usually use spun content from WordAI + kontent machine, it works but not the best way to do it. Of course this method is a lot more risky but it is alot easier to get started this way.

3. I persoanlly try to target related niches and use my PBN on various sites, some suggest you to build 1 PBN per site, which i found very uneconomical and uneffective.

4. Yep i only build those on content, and all content should be related to the big general niche.

I personally find the first methods better, keep your network small (20-30) and do stuffs properly, it is easier to manage, lower chance of getting hit and definitely cheaper in the long run. But we all have our own ways of doing things. If you are funded, you should start with a small network of 5-10 domains, the learning curve is not steep, so you will pick up fast.
