The title speaks for itself but I noticed people around here hate that type of stuff.. I don't see how Blackhat people can be so judgmental but I'm curious about how people around here feel about MLM companies.

If you have friends and family don't get into pyramid selling, because they'll end up not liking you. If you don't have friends and family then don't get into pyramid selling, because you'll have no-one to sell too.

See the problem here?

more like problems :D

1. shoddy goods.
2. high prices.
3. false monetary claims.
4. unworkable marketing plans.

all being peddled by thousands of dupes who are using the exact same sales materials and techniques. it's on the same level as those companies that sell you mail-order catalogs and then drop ship worthless books and products for you.

if you want to make money, either get into something legit. or start something that makes sense.

But these are the same sweeping wholesale claims many MLMers make about IM. Most people in either MLM or IM don't make much money, that's just the way it is. It's better to look beyond the generalities and concentrate on the MLM opportunities that avoid the flaws, just as we do with IM. Otherwise, it sounds like the pot calling the kettle black.

multi level marketing is pretty much only for people with lots of friends that they wouldn't mind loosing. I have a few friends that got into selling an energy drink called vemma verve, they were promised by their friends who recruited them that they would have a brand new bmw in a few months and they'd be able to retire their parents. Sadly, a few of my friends that fell for it ended up loosing a few hundred. Only the person ontop wins in a mlm scheme.

that's what many people *in general* think about IM, and then they join a network marketing scheme (because that's "real" work) and push crap on friend and family.

i reckon that more people have become wealthy via IM than have become wealthy via MLM. the records for both industries speak for themselves.

Mlm is easier to get into but it's not long term, you only have so many friends that you can screw over.
