Whats Wrong With Ezine Now?

I am Ezine author from last 3 years and I do not remember if I had even a single rejection in this period. I own multiple account with 100's of articles under each. Even if I had rejection occasionally, it was only if the content was against their TOS like HCG injection, prescription drugs etc

However from last one week, I could see some major changes. I got 7 rejection last week with reason "These articles are promoting same product under different way and it does not give more information to the readers".. True, I am promoting same product but wtf, all articles are unique and valuable for the reader searching for that term. I have published 10's of articles promoting the same product from one account....

Not only that, my article used to get approved within couple of hours to maximum 1 day and now they are taking a week time and still its under pending review...

Did you notice similar thing or is it only me?

Sounds like EZA is butthurt about Google taking them down a peg and now they are making an attempt at being a decent article directory as opposed to being a cesspool of spun seo articles

Yup agreed, I have had 9 articles waiting for review since 26th Feb. They finally were processed today. Only one rejected though thank god.

Yes Ezine are certainly tightening up now. As long as you write or have written quality articles the link value will increase.

Ezine article is not concentrating on unique content due to recent google slap they have lost about 50% of traffic as well as their revenue so thats they are tightening up

Yea it definately sounds like Ezine is trying to increase the quality of content since the "Google Content Farm" update 2 weeks that
dropped Ezine like a rock. Some of my ezine articles went from page 1 and 2 to page 6 and 7, becoming all but useless as a source of traffic.

I can not even imagine that. The blending is so well that user clicks on a.d.s.e.n.s.e 90% and your url 10% but $750K a day... wtf

No wonder they have gone mad after getting slapped by G recently

ya same problem with me ! i had posted several articles in it and i got approval in 2-3 days but now they don't approved my any of articles since last 2 months even though i was not promoting any product no matter with unique content or no promotional products... EZA sucks...

i just submitted 9 articles 2 days ago and my account is now suspended.

I bought the articles so they are 100% unique so i have no clue whats going on.

Im waiting for them to respond to me.

I had quite a few rejections in the past few days too, and I had even opened a thread here to find out what's going on. But the truth is, this is the beginning of the end of EZA (I know this is repeated so many times in IM but its true).

Just consider this:
1. Your EZA articles are highly unlikely to rank well after the Google Farmer Update
2. They have added "NoFolloww" tag to ALL links in either the article or the resource box. This means that you will not get even the link juice from these articles.
3. Article approval will now take more time than before.
4 More articles would be rejected owing to unclear and vague reasons such as "Not enough original or unique information" or "Promoting same products by using different pen names" etc.

Basically, you will now have to submit high quality, 100% unique article which must say something different than the rest of your articles. Even then, they might get rejected and if not, they will never rank in search results, there are no link juice to you website.

Lastly, you are doing all this for free- unlike sites like E-How which would pay you $10 for a single approved submission, and writing which would not take more time & effort than an EZA article now.

Very much agree with you. The whole purpose of making an effort is to get backlinks from trusted source and probably getting the article page itself ranked. But without getting Sucked.

Facing the same issues. Never had any rejection until 2 weeks back and the standard approval time was 1-2 days

Now I am waiting for 10 days and still it is due for approval. Out of 17 submitted 2 weeks back, 4 approved, 3 rejected and 10 still waiting for approval. Reason for rejection: "Your body does not fulfill[FONT=&quot][/FONT] the promise made under article title" and one "promotion of same product with not so unique informative content".

Time to say goodbye to ez now

I've submitted 3 articles since the recent changes, 1 was accepted, another rejected and another pending for eternity. If this is the case for a platinum author, I pity the situation of basic authors.
