What's wrong with Amazon?

Hi there,
Something is disturbing me, and I am sure there should be something wrong somewhere.
Well, a few months ago , I launched a new website and it started to get around 5 visitors daily for around a month.
During that month, I made around 3-5 sales on amazon I think from 200 clicks.Really good I thought!

And now, since 2 months, I got more than 8000 clicks to amazon from my website(which is an autoblog) , but did not make any sale. I find it really bizarre! Do you guys think this is normal? From 3 sales for 200 clicks to no sale from 8000 clicks?

Amazons tracking really sucks. They count all spider/bot vists as a click. So if you got a big site that gets crawled often its gonna show a ton of clicks. My auto blogs are all the same way.

But what is concerning me, is that previously, I got around 5 visitors each day, when the website was launched, but still managed 5 sales in amazon for that month.
But now, I get a minimum of 50 visitors daily for more than a month, but no sale.I thought I would at least get one sale in 2 months:S

Dunno what to say about that except that maybe its the niche? I have 2 autoblogs that get the same amount of traffic, about 125 visits a day. The one gets 1 sale a month or so, the other gets about 25 sales a month.

Maybe you had posts that were ranking higher in the search engines for products that people were really buying. Then, maybe new low converting posts came into play, pushing your high converting posts out of the way.

Yes, that does happen often. I just depends on what niche you're in and what the quality of the traffic is that you're sending through your links. If the quality is bad, you won't get that many sales. It's also possible that the keyword that people were using to get to your site is no longer ranking as high as it was. There are a lot of reasons why you may not be getting sales. Remember, that amazon is only a 24 hour cookie. If they don't buy within that time, then you don't get the commission.
