Hello, BHW community Facebook has changed a lot recently, in my opinion, particularly in the way that ads, pages, and groups interact with one another. Certain tactics that once succeeded now appear to be less successful. Are you guys experiencing better traction with Facebook groups compared to pages? Do you still receive a good return on investment from your commercials, or have they become more costly? How do you feel about organic reach? Is it completely dead or is it still effective in some niches? I’d love to know what’s working (or not working) for you right now on Facebook. It's always a pleasure to learn from those here who do the actual testing. I'm eager to hear your opinions!

Organic reach on pages has dropped a lot, but Reels are still giving solid traction. Groups remain strong for engagement if managed well. Ads are effective, though more costly, so ROI depends heavily on creative quality and targeting.

Groups feel more alive than pages now, organic still works in tight niches, but ads are pricier ROI depends on sharper targeting and strong creatives.

for me facebook groups dont give me much results. but with ads we have be smarter this days. they have made lot of changes.
i think they want us to pay more now days.

One thing I noticed is Facebook’s pushing more reach if you mix content types. for example running a short video reel on a page and then sharing that same content in a group gives way better results than doing only one. also fb still gives a bit of boost to lives if you set them up before going live. not huge, but better than nothing.

if you are advertising a product or business then facebook page is the best choice even if you don't use ads you can still post your content there and it can attract a lot of potential customers around you

You're right, Facebook has changed a lot. I think groups now have an advantage over fanpages in terms of organic engagement, especially if you build the right niche community.
As for advertising, the costs have increased, but if you combine the right groups, content and goals, you will still get results. Each niche will have different drop-off points, so small testing is still the way to optimize for now.
I'd love to hear more from everyone.

it really depends on luck. with the same campaigns, I gain different results :) but we can not deny that the facebook cost recently is really a big concern for advertisers

I also see this trend. Organic reach on Pages has almost disappeared, but Groups still have a chance if the content is community-oriented (questions and answers, discussions, polls). Ad ROI is higher than before, especially in competitive seasons, so I am switching to Reels + UGC content to save CPM. In general, FB is still good, but not as 'easy to eat' as before.

Yes bro, groups are prioritized for visibility and interaction over pages.
But we must build quality groups with real interactions, not groups that use tools to attract virtual members.

Meta advertising is not dead, but the way to play has changed. Pages are now mainly for ads + creating reputation, Groups are strong in nurturing, Reels keep the door open for organic, and if you want ROI, you need good creative + clear funnel.

lately organic reach feels weaker and ads cost more while some niches still find decent activity in groups but overall growth seems slower than before

Of course, nowadays advertisers are always updating advertising trends to suit the market, consumer tastes are constantly changing with new trends, if you keep following the old path, failure is inevitable, viewers will gradually not accept the content you provide them.

I think groups are getting more engagement than pages now. Ads still work but have become more expensive. Organic reach still works if the content is valuable. Let’s see what others are saying!

Facebook has changed, causing fanpages to lose organic engagement. In terms of advertising, although costs have increased, especially during competitive seasons, you can still achieve high ROI by combining the right audience and content, prioritizing Reels and user-generated content (UGC) to optimize costs. In short, Facebook is still a potential platform, but it is no longer as easy as before, requiring you to constantly experiment and adapt.
