What's with the Chinese traffic?

One of my sites is getting around three hits a minute from Chinese IPs. They're different IPs from China, but are all Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 7. They just hit the homepage and that's it. The site isn't even that popular.

Why is this?

They are spammers looking to post..... well spam on your website.

The Chinese are by far the worst for it now, even more so than India. Your choices are to use a good anti spam software if you use a CMS or block Chinese IP addresses from your site.

Mind you, if your not getting spam it means the spammers cannot get at your site, that's a good thing!
