What's up with the post count here?

I contacted BHW about this some time ago but never heard back. Understandably, their likely too busy to care about something as trivial and minor as this. I was a little dissppointed that I received no response though.

My post numbers are all f-uped. I've posted well over 70 times. My post numnber (to the right shows only 50 as of this post) and when I search my user name I only see 39 which can be seen here:

. Some of my posts also mysteriously disappear. What's the problem?

I think I read somewhere on this forum a while back that they are removing "short" response posts off the forums to clean up. I'm not sure if I read it on this forum or another, but that can be one reason why.

I can understand that but that still doesn't rationlize why I make 3 or 4 posts and my number of posts (>>>to the right>>>) doesn't budge. Not to mention when I search for my posts the number is different and lower. Let me put it this way, I had 50 posts before starting this thread and theoretically I now have 53 (in addition to starting the thread I have two additional posts) yet my total post count still only shows 50. Why?

I don't care about the golden toaster award for posting I'm just really curious on why this could be. It would be nice to know how much I've actually posted in an impartial, unedited and unbiased manner.

It explained in the FAQ under "count". Some sections do NOT count.

Why people are so concerned about the post count? We are not here to increase our post count,we are here to learn, apply what we have learnt so far, make some money and help others to do so.

Your post count will automatically rise if you just do that.
