It is premature to mock someone about being reluctant without informing yourself first about their situation. Among other things you don't even know what my product is, just like I don't know what the market demand is (and neither can't estimate it without paying $130 beforehand). We both have serious variables and being reluctant at this stage is nothing but the rational position — otherwise we're not investing, we're gambling.

But that is business. Plain and simple.

It doesn't matter what you have, what your situation is, how much you've spent, what you're risking. None of that is of concern to the publisher.

The publisher has a business to run.

All publishers require payment to advertise. No one is going to let you test the waters for free. That would be wonderful if we could, but publishers wouldn't make money, since everyone would just be testing new products.

You aren't investing when you buy advertising. That's not an investment in any way.

The only way you can do what you're doing is with an affiliate pay per sale model. Affiliates will promote your product and you only pay them on a sale.

However, you won't find any affiliates that are going to promote your product unless it has a proven track record. Affiliates don't want to promote new, untested, unknown things. Then, the affiliate is wasting money buying advertising or wasting space on his organic asset so you can test the waters.

There is no testing of the waters without spending money. I'm sorry, but that's just business. Plain and simple.

Also. $130.. You don't want to spend $130 to test a market? That's incredibly cheap. Advertisers spend $1000's sometimes $10's of thousands to test and refine their campaigns.
