Would like to get some personal opinions on where do you think the limit stands when it comes to keyword stuffing.

It's not really good to keyword stuff since the site will look bad in google's eyes as well as other search engines so you'll receive a lower ranking. Try to do some research and choose the best keywords.

i agree. also, your readers will be saying "why are the same words repeated" when they read your articles and i believe they will not enjoy that, especially if you are doing affiliate marketing with your articles.

That's about right. There are tools out there that can check your article for the keyword and the percentage.

I learned from using IBP that an ideal percentage is around 2 to 5%, but as long as the content looks natural, is easily readable and looks like it was thoughtfully written by a human and not an article writing spambot then I don't think you should have any problems. When creating your content, do a draft copy without thinking about keywords, then once you have researched they keyword/s you would want to rank highly for, go through your draft and adjust the content accordingly with your keywords (keeping in mind the appropriate density).

I will go against the grain and say it often doesn't really matter. You obviously shouldn't have the same keyword repeated again and again, but you can actually get heaps of traffic to a page that is nothing but a big list of keywords if you have sufficient backlinks.
There are situations where you don't actually have to have much real, readable text on the page, eg. image based sites where you mainly have a bunch of thumbnails and a lot of alt text.

I agree - this is a great technique and completely removes the hassle of trying to build the inital draft around the keywords themselves. Write the article first and input the preferred keywords after.
