First one - I was on a family trip. My father was driving, and I was giving directions based on Google Maps. Finally, it showed that we had reached the destination… but there was a huge wall in front of us with no road at all
Maps still insisted there was a way, and my family literally got out of the car and started laughing and joking about climbing the wall to reach the place
Second one - I was going to a friend’s wedding early morning and trusted Google Maps completely. It kept showing a “faster route”… but I ended up reaching only after the whole function was over.
Since then, I don’t fully trust “shortcuts” anymore.
What’s the weirdest or funniest place Google Maps has taken you?
