I really don’t get this one thing here. I’ve never seen so many people spending their time on writing very correct, very well-structured, and ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS replies. Open any non-selling thread like “need advice” or “one thing vs another” and you will see them.

You may say that it’s only my opinion and their authors find them useful. But really? Doesn’t anyone feel the same?

Sometimes I come there to write a good helpful reply, and suddenly I feel myself a complete fool in the room full of ChatGPTs trying to explain them something.

Like what the fuck?!??

I would understand newbies like myself “mining reputation”, but what’s the point for Jr. VIPs? Honestly, feels like you hire VAs who copy-paste meaningless bullshit from ChatGPT. Would be funny to see some of them in this thread lol.

P.S. Don’t get me wrong, BHW is a very nice place and I’m glad to be here.

Without getting into what they are doing with the bhw accounts. I would suggest to use the report button that is the best course of action against the spam.

Yeah feels like every jr vip nowadays just farm post count using chatgpt. I get it if you have a new account and need to reach the 100 posts requirement, but theres no point spamming after that really.

1) Most members doing that are not real people. They are bots, this is not a manual job of copying and paste answers here. The idea is to spam as much as they can until they reach 100 posts, so they can upgrade their accounts and sell it for scammers. Or use it themselves for scam purposes.

2) Some Jr VIP members are doing that to spam their signature promotion

3) If you see someone doing that, report their comments or posts

You can think of it as a manual version of Instagram follower increase manipulation such as post increase etc.

It's my understanding this site, outside the Marketplace, is kind of dying. People don't seem to be here to learn or share anymore. It's mostly automated responses by people who either wanna promote their signature or people trying to get enough comments/upvotes so they can become Jr.Vip or simply gain trust and scam someone. I guess people are looking somewhere else for information. That's painfully obvious when you look at the "views" stats in each post. Go back a handful of years and you'd see any post get a ton of views very quickly. And i mean, hundreds. Now you have topics with days that have less than 50 views. People just aren't looking for information here anymore. It doesn't help that every god damn thing has been asked and answered thousands upon thousands of times.

The Marketplace isn't much better either. It's just countless bots pretending to buy stuff they're certainly not gonna buy. It's like 90% of the participation it seems.

Thank you both for saving me from repeating myself for the 7,809th time.

But how does it really work if they post just *normal* replies? I mean, it’s not spam, it’s polite, correct, following context, etc. and also human-like with emotions and slang thanks to ChatGPT.

The problem for me is I can’t really communicate to anyone. Everyone talks and no one listens
