What's the status on optimizing for AI search

If the premise that AI search wipes out good ole' SEO is true, does that not just mean that we could optimize for AI search results?

Couldn't one hypothetically just optimize AI search then?

Surely, this nut hasn't been cracked quite yet - but does anybody know if people are already on it?

Also, would love to hear some theories about how this could be accomplished by the smart people on the board.

I wouldn't hurry optimizing for AI. As soon as all other problems that mankind faces are resolved (will take few more years) the authorities (the real ones) will go after AI and deal with it properly since this is nothing more than content stolen from us by the big tech mafia.

And when this happens we will probably go back to normal search engines, so don't put all of your eggs in the AI basket just yet

maybe but I believe they could do that with reliable and verified sources if they want something about news they will go to " open doble quote reliable sources - close double quote" BBC, New york times not for the random website that provide news if that is something will be difficult because will be dominated only by companies but could be some niches that could be posible to shine and get as you say recomended by optimizing the site for AI but right now that is not something right now I believe but should be good do some research on it.
