Hi, i was riding my bicycle and still.i'm 16 years old and never ride a scooter or motorcycle (but i'm planing to buy a scooter).

But should i get a 50cc or 100cc scooter ?

I'm worry about getting a 50cc and soon wish i had a bigger engine!

Thanks!

I don't believe it matters what you start on. Have to pay attention, and be cautious at all times. I started on a Suzuki DRZ-400s, which I still have(my favorite), as well as Suzuki GSXR 600. Personally, I'd never ride anything smaller than a 250cc on the road.

If youre talking about like a moped, get 100cc for a motorcycle get a 300.

Yeah but i'm not from USA, i mean in my country which is morocco the best motorcycles that we have is t-max and harley, and everybody got a MBK Spirit So...

The smaller ones are always more fun anyway. Way easier to manage too. Harleys are for posing in photoshoots (and for long highway rides with windshields)

For most fun and ease of use, I'd go 250 or less unless you plan on spending serious time on highways... then you'll want something heavier. For around town, the lighter, the better.

my first was a 50cc and my second was a kz1100
could never has started on the 1100cc and after a while i changed down to an 800cc intruder
go with the 50cc to learn then get a real bike later ( at least 6 months)
why pay more for a 100cc f your just going to get rid of it

Don't do what I did - which was to buy a VTR-1000 as my first bike... it didn't end well.

Since you are from morocco the selection is pretty limited (salam choja, lebes?), i know yamaha dealerships are all over the place.

I plan to get a motorcycle myself (located in Europe), i checked everything and although the KTM bikes are all pretty sweet i will go with the yamaha xt660 supermoto version, its a rock solid bike, needs nearly no mainteance and 50 horsepowers out of 660cc is enough, over here its 6000? new from a yamaha dealership.

Maybe look up to that, i know that used motorcycles/car are crazy expensive in morocco so if you could afford it maybe go with a new xt660 and keep it until it falls apart in 10-15 years.

If you want a 50cc i guess you will go with mbk booster or mbk stunt, last time i was there they were all over the place (mbk stunt is new about 60% of the price of a xt660 though).

regards

According to Mario Kart even babies can drive a 150cc.

Are you a baby? :p
