I get a lot of "comments" on a blog lately with a random name as anchor text linking to facebook profiles. These profiles are not spammy at all, they look real. Some please enlighten me ... what's the point of this?
To gain more friends. Or if you are blogging something about facebook games, they might be seeking allies for their games. That's all that I can think of.
I do this on new fb accounts to build a targeted friend list. You target a specific niche use you're fb profile account link with you're name as anchor txt.its easier this way fb easily bans you nowaday's if you have multiple accounts and invite people you dont know.however they dont ban you if people you dont know invite you.
I have accounts with 1k -2k 5k and 10k and 13k+ friends. I mostly promote my website's and people sometimes ask me to promote their fb viral apps on these acc.
Thanks for all the explanations, now I get it
Never thought about gaining friends to spam this way.
So most likely it was just an untargeted blast with the goals mentioned above ... because ... well we're talking about a pr0n blog here haha

You could check those facebook game's forums and you'll see alot of people wanting to be added. People who visits those forums are more wiser though. Means they can smell what you are cooking up to
this is not spamming acutally a kinda seo at facebook usually people use it to increase their facebook fan page likes or increasing their friendslist and then sell them
