Can you use those emails to send them offers and make money that way?

If so, would they have to consent to it?
For example, checking a box that says "send me offers".

(Sorry if this is an obvious question. I've already searched Google and didn't find anything specific.)

Edit: Well.. I think I know the first answer. But the second answer still applies.
Again, sorry. I just code, so I'm not aware of these marketing techniques.

As they say, "The Money Is in The List".

1) Create a "squeeze page" and offer a free report on it in return for
the readers giving you their email address.

2) Send them weekly tips and more free reports to build trust and
to show them that you are an authority in your field.

3) Eventually, recommend paid products to them. They can be
your products or links to affiliate products you are promoting.

This is called "Relationship Marketing". The idea is to build a
long term relationship with your subscribers and build trust
with them. If you do it right, you can have customers for life.

The point is that it is the strongest tool you can ever have.

Imagine you have 3 monster websites, you run 2 bots very successfully and you also do great at PPV/PPC.
Now imagine one day, for whatever reason G update comes and fucks up your pages, the social networks where you were botting become super fortified and you only have PPV/PPC left. THAT WOULD SUCK

If during the time you have the websites and run the bots you choose to put a bit of extra effort and collect all of the emails from your visitors, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS! you will always have the list and still be able to produce money out of that niche.

Wiz: Thank you! I think I'm going to try that. Do you think Relationship Marketing is more effective than getting their email without consent?

Reyone: Ahh, I never thought of it that way. I'm going to try out Email/Relationship Marketing with my site. Thank you!

Thank you both for the replies; I appreciate it!

Absolutely. Sending emails to people who have not voluntarily signed up
to your email list can get you into trouble for spamming. "Permission
Email Marketing" is the best way to go.

Best of luck to you! :)

the type of agreement depends from country to country to be legal to email them. not all countries have anti-spam laws afaik. that being said the de-facto standard on the internet is double opt-in.

regarding why you'd capture user emails - so you email them about stuff they're interested in and hopefully they will buy something from you and you'd make money.
