What's the optimal frequency of adding article to directories?

I've got a 7-day trial of Magic Article Submitter and would like to squeeze the most out of it before deciding whether to buy it or not.

How many articles can I blast per day safely not to get banned for flooding directories?

Should I create new profiles with different details each time I add a new article?

What are your experiences with mass article adding?
