What's the most you've been scammed on the web?

Back in college. I shipped my PSP and games to Nigeria. Got $900 for it then days later my Paypal account showed -$900. Years later sold a website for $10,000 using Paypal and not Escrow. The buyer did a chargeback after I sent the domain and web files to him but I withdrew the funds already. I never paid back on both accounts and still have a different Paypal account.

I didn't get scammed but I have been selling my Instagram account back to 2013-14 on eBay which had around 14k followers back days. Everything went so smooth. My money held on Paypal for around like 4 months and when it's been released I have got an email from paypal that the MF has opened a dispute against me that he hasn't got the product after a damn 4 months! and of course, MF paypal has found him right and returned the money to that a-hol. The money was 120 USD. not a lot but still
PS. I have even got screenshots of conversations which has been sent over eBay.
shortly: I got scammed due to paypals' shit. F Paypal they are sucks.

I have a online friend and using his bank for withdraw from Adsense. I am paying him 20% on every payment. Once we received 3200$ and he send me 80% of this amount, on next month payment is 1200$ and he blocked me from everywhere and scammed 1200$.
Thanks he not scammed at 3200$ ;)
Note: Sorry for my poor English

Around $35 if I remember exactly back when I was 15 and was trading/selling CS:GO keys.

$20k I think. Never fully calculated. Maybe $15k.

Too much money going in and out of bank accounts, easy to lose track of a thing here or there

About 15€ in CSGO keys couple years ago

If I would make a guess.. $200k if not way more with today’s market.

Its in inventory, not in actual money (until its sold). I made a mistake back in the day making and botting game accounts on someone else’s domain. He got greedy and resetted all the passwords.

About $250.000 when StormPay got denied renewal of license and shut down by SEC early 2006, that was no fun .. =)

.

$50 scammed me someone who was selling bing ads training that helps to use fake credit cards with coupons to run free bing ads. But this method didn't work and when I said him his method not working because I tried it many times without success, he replied me this method worked until yesterday.

Around $650 :( It was when I started out working online, and I was in college. I had earned all that money during my summer break with the help of my friends.
That's sad.
What happened?

Did some PPI campaigns with a guy who i thought was my friend, was kinda JV sorta business. he bought in the buyer, and received the money. All was smooth, until the method with which i generated traffic was busted, and he thought let's bail out and fucked me good for over $4,000

Never been scammed! Understanding how these things work help mintage mistakes.

I remember when I started creating content for clients. I had a deal with a client to write content for 30 days for Instagram for $80. After writing and submitting the job the client stopped talking to me and he used everything on his page and there was nothing I could do

That's sad.

I was naive. I had all the money in Webmoney wallet and no way of withdrawing, and then I saw someone who wanted to exchange PP to Webmoney on Freelancer. I sent him in Webmoney and he sent me in my Freelancer account. Later, he filed a chargeback, and Freelancer suspended my account. I don't know how he was able to create that post because, later on, they said it wasn't allowed.

£3500 on a product.

£55,000 in total having had debit card cloned and ID stolen. Took 4 months for the bank to give me that money and nearly a year to get the loan removed from my credit report.

About $7k, to be fair it was a pretty sophisticated scam.
