Hey friends,
I have a few sites which I want to sell. All of them together make 5K$ per month.
I dont want to sell them on my own because I know that a professional site broker
can get much more (this is not my expertise).

I've never done a sale like this before outside my country, so I don't really know
what the rate for site brokers is.

Thanks in advance!

Suggest you get some advice right here on BHW from

15% is what I paid recently for a site that sold in the mid $XX,XXX range. I suggest speaking with Meathead1234 also. PM me what kind of sites your looking to sell as well. I am interested in some passive earners if you have any.

Its depends. Some Pro brokers my charge 20%+ but its because they can sell your website for a lot more than some others.
Dont know of meathead is up for it because he has a minimum net worth limit for taking up sites.

At this level, 15% is pretty much the standard across the board. While there are brokers that would probably take the contract for 10%, most of them would just put it up on their site and never do any proactive selling, making it worth paying the slightly higher fee to a broker who is proactive and gets your site sold.

Also, not many brokers are willing to take on sub-100k sites so your choices are limited to a very few options.

I've paid from 10-25% before, it just depends on the broker's themselves, their market, their clientele etc. Quality comes with a price.

So basically 20% is the max rate they can charge from me..

Thanks guys!
