I have a site with a lot of pr3 pages, it's a UK electricians website, i'm planning to drop a blogroll in the side bars of the pages and sell a few links to electrical themed sites to keep it quality. what is the going rates roughly i know it is hard to gauge..

There free if you can find them..

Have a day off mate!.

He is asking how much he should charge a site within the same niche to have a link on his Pr3 site.

I don't know the answer but I'd be looking to cover all my costs at least per month

As a buyer i recently paid 20 USD for a PR3 link. The stats were as such

On page PR3
Domain PR5
******** ( that's obvious I know )
OBL : 34
Domain age : 4 yrs

If I was to buy a link on your site I would look at the following:

How well you ranking in Google - determines the authority for your chosen keyword(s).
Quality of your other external links on your site, if any. - determines trust and how likely Google is to devalue that link.

How related that link is to mine. I personally have a builder's website in the UK, ranking high for "builders" and I have a page dedicated for "electricians London" PM me your site, maybe we can come to a deal.

I would be interested depending on content quality. I manage electrical (and other trades) skills website. Pm me if you go ahead with this pls.

And by the way, I would say you can charge between $10-$30 per month depending on alexa rank, pages indexed, content quality etc...

I guess authority and trust is not important to you. I wish there was more people like you to sell links to.

I don't know what you are trying to say. Common sense and knowledge are important to me, I know when a site is worth something - and I already guessed that any site you own ain't worth nothing;)

I'd say around $15-$30/mo

$30 if capped and low OBL and a decent backlink portfolio on the PR3 website. Location of link is also important.

To back up my claims that authority and trust are the 2 main things to look at when buying a link:

I've got a PR3 ranked site (was PR4 before latest update) and I gave backlinks for free if they exchanged my link on one of their site's pages with a PR greater or equal to 3. I have signed upto this link exchange service (backlinks.com) which pays me $3 per link per month to have on my PR3 ranked pages. I am not sure if I am being ripped off (as it is quite hard for me to pin a monetary value on a link) but if anyone knows of a link exchanging service that pays a good amount for backlinks on ranked pages let me know...
