what would you guys say is a reasonable price to pay for a PR5 link?

I'm not sure there is a reasonable fixed price, as it would depend on the topic matter. For instance, it is much easier to get a Pr5 link in some niches than others. The more competitive, the more that PR5 is worth to you.

Not to mention there are some PR5 links that get hardly any traffic at all, others that get a ton of traffic a day/week. The site with more traffic will charge more money then the site that gets less traffic. Not to mention what ghands said about the niche the PR5 site is in. Porn/gambling will cost you a hell of a lot more then say something that deals with golf clubs.

That would also depend on other links on the page. Best suggestion I can make is go to the big forums (DP, SP, WF) and see what others are getting and then go by that.

thanks for all the info guys.

does it matter from a PR perspective whehte rthe site gets traffic or not? i'm just interested in the juice. don't need the traffic...

What niche you want to buy a link in has a lot to do with the price too
