Whats the differnce between facebook(.)com/pages/whiterock

Not sure what you mean by those URL's but there are a handful of different ways you can set up a presence on Facebook. You can set up the page as a community page, a local business, a company, a famous person and a couple of others.
The main difference among these accounts is how you connect with people. On a personal profile, the connection is called "friends". When a person likes a fan or business page, the connection is similar but they are only liking it. Business pages cannot see the updates from the people that like their pages and they cannot see information on their profiles past what the person has made public.
