What's the difference between web 2 and web 3?

What is the basic difference between the two ?

Also what impact does this have from an SEO point of view?

I tried the wikipedia page but it didn't help...

Web 3 is a new "marketing word" it mean nothing

EDIT: You should avoid this kind of sellers who obviously take the newbie for idiots in order to sell more
Assuming you are talking about SEO not global internet technology

Web 3.0 is a made up term by some "gurus" that need to look smart. Nothing interesting or important for anyone doing SEO.

More or less, although there's some interesting and possibly scary stuff on the horizon for Web 3.0 - particularly what advertisers will be doing with all that data!
 
I'm awaiting the launch of web 4.0 and the return of PR.
 
Tbh I've never seen anyone here talking about web3.0. Just because it does not make any sense regarding SEO.

I was right, web 3.0 is shitt, i dead some where it is a internet of things, that is total bullshit, we have local seo for that..
 
One is web2 and the other is a buzz word made up by self declared gurus who like to spew shit all over the Internet to make themselves feel better about their sad pathetic empty lives.
