whats the difference between web 2.0 and web 2.0 profiles when automating links?

Hi Everyone,

can someone tell me the difference between web 2.0 and web 2.0 profiles,

as i thought creating web 2.0 blogs for tier 1's was a good thing, but been told that web 2.0 profiles are bad, so any help would be really appreciated

Create web 2.0 blogs with articles on them, then point them to your main site. Create web profiles and point them to the blogs if you think that they are bad

they are different. a web 2.0 page is an actual blog page with content in it. where a profile is just a profile with your member details and a homepage url. so you are basically getting links from a naked page which is not as valuable as the links from content page.
