Hi guys,

I'm looking for a EPN to buy for my business and I hear a lot of people talking about proxys to hide their real IP. Now I understand why but how do you do it? For instance I'm from the Netherlands so when I buy a Canadian EPN account how do I use a proxy for it? Sorry guys I'm still kind of a noob.

You'll need to purchase an exclusive Canadian proxy so that it looks like you're logging into your account from Canada. You can do a search for "exclusive canadian proxies" on Google to find providers.

Once you purchase the proxy, you can then set it up through Firefox by going to Tools, Options, going to the Advanced section and then clicking the Network tab and then clicking the Settings button. Once you're in there, choose the Manual Proxy Configuration section and put in the IP address and the port number that the proxy company gave to you. Choose the "use this proxy server for all protocols" checkbox and then click Ok to get out of the settings window. Restart Firefox and when you load it back up, depending on the provider you may be presented with a username and password box - login with the information that the company gave to you for the proxy.

That's how you use the proxy.. Now all you need to do is purchase it.

but how do you use it when you have multiple EPN accounts and therefore need multiple proxies? Do you need to setup the proxies every time you want to login?

of course you have to setup the proxy everytime you login. Also clear cache/cookies before logging in to another EPN account and change proxy as well.

You can also try proxies from vip72 (dot) com ( I am not there dealer or anything like that but there proxies are good and cheap though).

I hope this will help you.

thanks

Ok I think I understand it now, thanks for the help.

You are welcome Hyperion.

Hitting Thanks won't take much time... :D

sorry still kind of a noob with this forum but now I properly "thanked" you all for your help :)

VPN is the best in terms of anonymity. Because it encrypts data and is a more professional solution. Works on a lower level of the OSI model.

proxy is a simpler and easier to setup solution. Works great for simple tasks where u need to hide your IP
