Hi mods, just needed some clarification.

I know that you're not supposed to do it excessively, but what's excessive?

Are we only allowed to bump once/day, how many times is excessive? I've seen people with real updates, and answering real questions, this is absolutely fine but is a daily bump for the sake of bumping allowed? There are people that post stuff like "Morning bump" etc.

Thanks.

about 6 months ago i got a warning for it so be careful
if your replying to an actual post on your sales thread
thats not a bump , but if u delete a post on purpose for
the sole purpose to repost as the bump you will get
warned, then get burned if u do it again
is that worth the loss of a bst or sales thread? erm nope

DD clearly mentioned in BST rules , so do think BHW like Wickedfire

This kind of feature is at there

And i think BHW is good and that rules is not a good here for bumping own threads .

Don't bump without posting any replies or offers.I saw some members post their message and delete it after the thread on the 1st page.course Jr.Vip members are able to delete their own post.

I'd really appreciate it if a mod chimed in on this. Can somebody roger BB?

Normal Bumping

1. Replying to queries.
2. Announcing New discounts. (Just one in a day)
3. Thanking for the reviews.

Excessive Bumping

1. Posting "Pm sent" messages.
2. Bumping again and again by posting your latest offers.
3. Posting the original post content again.
4. "Thanks for your order" posts.
5. deleting your posts and reposting it again.

Still, there is no hard and fast rules. But , before bumping think twice, by putting yourself in competitor shoes.

Thanks for the clarification BB. Perhaps it's time we implement a rule to make it fair for everybody? It seems like everybody are doing it in the Services for Sale section.

Maybe we can limit it to X bumps per day regardless of the type of bumps, and if they want to answer multiple questions they should use multi-quotes? Just a suggestion.

The above one, i mentioned is for clarification. But we can identify the excessive bumping from the normal ones. So no worries, even you bump twice or thrice in a day.

I am soon starting a thread and my doubt is many people ask for a sample site if you have MNS,etc like thread.

So,if we quote 10 people's post who requested Sample site and we post a reply Sample Site PMed,is it Excessive Bumping ?

I think its fine as many MNS sellers do the same

I'm not complaining BB but sometimes I want to post updates or whatever but I feel guilty because there are no clear rules.

I just thought it'd be easier for the forum to have something written that everybody can refer to. The rules will of course apply to me as well.

Just my 2c.

Its not fine. you can post the url for the sample site in your OP or if anyone asks for sample site, just pm them and no need to mention it in your thread.

I don't think, specific rules will work here..

say, there are many threads , where services or products selling hot and some threads , there wont be any activities. This rule can harm the prior one and whereas other one will just bump , just for the sake of the bumping rules.

Thanks BigBuddy.I see many MNS providers do the same so I wanted to clear the doubt before getting on the radar .
