Depends on the website or proxies if you use a standalone bot.

If you use a software bot then you have to load it with proxies. I am saying the proxies would have to be high quality.

Whats your definition of a traffic bot?

10 years ago mine would have been a basic app that crawls your site with rotating proxies and user agents.

Today, a traffic bot to me is mainly social network driven.
