I want to create a website that uses curated posts of a certain niche to act as a one stop resource about that topic. I want to feature the original articles itself on my site, without the visitor needing to visit the original authors' websites.What exactly should I do to prevent duplicate content?
What's the best practice for this?

the articles will be duplicate content, ok if you buy traffic but not good for seo .You will also need to give attribution and a link to original article source, some will stop you from doing it and make you remove all posts.
I hade it done to me, the original owners got lawyers to make me remove hundreds of articles from my site. It took days going through and removing them.

Best to give credit where credit is due. If you want to use the work of other writers, then at least give a link back to their site. Else write your own content, avoid duplicate content, avoid DMCA takedown notices, and cut out the middle man. Scraping other people's content and trying to pass it off as your own used to be popular back in the day, but Google caught on to all that real quick.

You could always put the article text into a photo or image or like an info graphic and even comment bellow it with original text
