Yahoo is good but there is also linkdiagnosis.com, it's great for checking out your competitors.

when i do a link: check on google it only displays 6 of 3000 backlinks.

When I use backlink check websites it only displays 1000. Is there anyway to check 1000+ links? Why do they all stop at 1000.

Gradual link building is what you need here. Yes, blog comment only on ******** blogs would going to increase your page rank and ranking..but in a natural manner, otherwise it would be counted as spam
