Whats the algorithm to generate youtube download links?

Hey Black Hatters,,
i would like to program a webside script using to generate youtube download links for my customers...any of you know whats the algorithm to generate the download links and do tell me which tools in python i should make of.

Note:I am just a python newbie...have read a lot..but i dont think i would have read even 1% of what my fellow BHW members have read...

algorithm to generate the download links

I don't know the algorithm per say . . but this may help you with this:
1.you may want to post next time in youtube section
2. I assume most downloaders locate the flash file on the page and then download that and convert it one over to a more readable format (assuming this is offline).
3. Look for plugins developed on firefox and contact those who programmed them, maybe they will let you in.

i dont think so thats what the websites that offer the download of youtube videos do...there should be something diffeerent

its a bit complicated for a begginner for me to grasp the code..anyway thanks for your help

Maybe with regular expressions, you may find a tag outside the movie file src and then copy the href attribute, something like that, i've maked something similar in other site with this and it works.
