What's required to become an Amazon affiliate

Hello.. I'm sorry for the ridiculously noobish questions here but I keep reading threads on this subforum and still don't have a clue about the workings of affiliate programs..

So if I want to become an amazon affiliate and promote (for example) coffee makers, what does Amazon expect from me? To have a website that has reviews on coffee makers or what? Does the site have to be old, well ranked in Search Engines?

What is the probability of someone with no experience getting accepted into Amazon? What type of questions will they ask?

I don't think Amazon Affiliates even reviews applications manually; I think it's all automatic. I have a website that gets very little traffic and at the time, had some pretty crappy content, and I still got accepted (I've got better content now and I'm hoping my traffic will start climbing and I can get some $$$)

But anyway... Yea, Amazon Affiliates is NOT difficult to get into, at all.

very easy, even set up a blogger site or weebly and you are accpted straight away

Well they do require a website. But it doesn't have to be a high traffic website, they will accept you even if doesn't have a lot of content.

Okay, thanks for the input guys I just got a little worried after reading so many posts about people not getting accepted into affiliate networks.. and I didn't have the site for my niche set up when I tried to register for Amazon
