For one of my biggest keywords in gambling the main keyword is 5.9% and second main keyword is 11.9%

Guy's look yeah, If your going to put too much "emphasis" on density then go ahead make your stuff look like shit
I got a few sites ranking on 8-10% density it really depends on how you go at it, read my post above.

These days i really don't believe in this Keyword density thing. If the articles are well written and natural that will do the work.

I would suggest keeping it between 1-2% Over that and you are in googles little spy glass

1% or less is advisable. I don't try to reach or stay under any particular keyword density percentage because I write naturally. Most of the time, my keyword only appears in the first sentence and alt tag of my article and first image respectively.
