With the algorithm changes and cracking down making things a bit harder, I was wondering what you guys are thinking of doing next? This is assuming instagram fully crack down and botting becomes no longer worth the effort. Have any of you tried VK?

IG is still profitable, you only must know how to handle it :)
VK could be good if you have any offers for russian market, but I have no experience on VK yet.

Adapt and change. Until Instagram goes off the market (which I doubt anytime soon), then you have to maybe stop botting. Or change the mechanisms in how you grow your accounts.

One should always diversify though. I've been looking into branching out to Snapchat and maybe TikTok.

Long time till IG goes out of its juice. As mentioned above, adapt and workaround.

That's what they said about Facebook too. Still working and profitable. Adapt simple as that.

Tik Tok in the future, when they make it more advertiser-friendly

Instagram is still very profitable - but once that well dries out you can move to whichever social media site is next. I'm sure there will be plenty other options by that point.

Instagram is the most used social media platform right now.. tik Tok will have its moment but die out just like VINE and those other ones. I don't really see Instagram dying out in the next 5 years..

To be fair, Vine didn't "die out", it was ended by Twitter. TikTok looks very promising and once more varieties of content start appearing, it'll be a solid platform.

Ehh we shall see. There are a lot of other apps to do "videos' in that aren't taking off. TIKTOK just knows how to market it.

You could be right, who knows. The Chinese company that owns it got a good head start when they bought Musical.ly and formed it together with their own video app. Seems to have great appeal to the under-17/18 market base.

Instagram is still really good but it definitely requires more time and testing to make things work. With this said, I'm thinking about getting into Twitter again. I used to build Twitter accounts a year or 2 ago, but they kept getting screwed with PV/password change requests, so I stopped. However, I think now I have enough knowledge to avoid these issues.

It's def for the younger market. Typically not the ones who spend $ lol. I cater to the 24/40 year olds. I run a lot of automotive pages and market products through them.

Checked TikTok out, seems like a solid platform honestly. I think it’s only matter of time, til a big influencer picks it up and it blows up in everyones face

EDIT: From my recnt tests it seems that promoted ig posts work way better than posts in timline.

Since tiktok is pretty much ig stories coller version, who knows.

It looks like paid ads are killing it more and more and IG CEO prefers to flow with the money more than help his clients generate organic reach.
I think that they don't like the fact that people getting paid for advertising shoutouts on their accounts without them getting their cut. I am pretty sure that they are working on a proper version to minimize automatic growths.

This is it right there ^ They are more interested in paying customers now.. but thats how everything goes.. TikTOk will eventually get ahold on people paying to be "viral" or what not.

Yeah, the clock is ticking and you can make bank until it will stop - Accounts with 50k followers will worth 20X than what they worth now in 2-3 years
