whats my blog lacking

It's in Portuguese... Most here won't be able to understand that imo. Sorry.

It looks like pretty much just another blogspot.
Thanks for the feedback

not that bad then I guess
I see all of the top blogspot blogs showing a lot of articles on the front page, something like 20 or more. The page length is the same as one CB link...
Probably a good strategy then?
Can someone explain this?

May be some design touch would be good. Content looks good though.

Get away from blogspot and use WordPress if you want to stand a chance.

I hear ya

I tried my best on the Header, I suck so my Logo will be on the left (this is almost like the IGN website.. but not)
Did some work on the layout as well (adsense friendly I think now)
For the design I get rid of all borders as well, they were ugly
changed some text colors etc too

I guess it will get better with correctly placed google ads (If they ever approve me)

It's missing paid domain and hosting.

If you are hobbyist and you only want blogspot w/o any ad units or anything, try dynamic views.
You will get more pageviews, people will surf easier through your content.
The design offers some minor modifications because that template is content oriented, so you can't do much about it, but it is quite comfortable to work with and it doesn't look too bulky like the default blogspot template.
Dynamic is also responsive template and it will fit into any device very graciously. So, don't waste too much time and effort on the web design twaddling if you just want to test your blogging capabilities, and start building your content. Google Blogger also indexes it's own pages ( blogspot) frequently, so if you have a thing it will be out there rather fast.

Its really the best blogger template but I'll try to monetize the blog.
You cant put any ad units on this layout or its just badly placed? I should check this out and maybe change if I could

The content is great, I should just buy a domain name eventually

Im not on adsense yet just because the blog is new

I'm not super familiar with Blogspot, but ill comment.

Firstly i would switch to Wordpress and Hosting.

I like the minimal plain design, however i think at least one or two things to catch the users eye would help, so maybe add a little color.

Also On my screen its taking up only about 50% of the browser width, so i would try to utilize the free space on both sides. Maybe go for something responsive.

I'm not Portuguese, nor can I use the language, but the content looks good size wise.

Other than that it looks pretty good for a start, but i would work on the few things I have mentioned

Dynamic is built for the content only so their script strips down almost all code as well.
For adverts use the responsive ( mobile optimized) templates and yes, you can buy the domain name in time, but for the testing purposes you can easily keep this one as well. You can place any advert on the blogspot, just don't collide with their Tos.
For the template make sure that you install the one that is fast loading and not bloated, because the Blogger has nothing to speed up your page.
As it is a very popular blogging platform, you will easily find a right free template and install the additional modification on the go.
Try to keep in the mind that Google indexes it's own blogspot blogs in a blink of an eye, so pay attention to the on page seo and keep text to code ration on a decent level.
You will know where you are after 50-ish decent blog posts.
Also, install the Statcounter and manually block all bots from the social networks, Blogspot statistic is incorrect, Google Analytics is a raging mess and also can be in failure with the numbers and stuff, so this one will help you greatly.
Have fun with your blog.

OP Get a TLD and small hosting pack max cost below 10$ ...content looks good

I think I just found a way to put adsense on dynamic views so thanks for that.

I Will get a TLD eventually, never got one before.

For me it lacks its own TLD domain+self-hosted WP which in my opinion shows you as an author being not serious about it. Also at least for me that service is always damn slow and I try to avoid blogspot blogs at all costs unless it has some info I really need.
And I didn't even visit your link btw.

Alright, all you guys couldnt be wrong, but this new domain will be like the old blog once I redirect right? Cause Im surely cant create a new site...

And blogspot dont need hosting so thats a plus

Blogspot is free to redirect too (unlike wordpress)
also Wordpress asks for $18 per year to register a new domain as well Without giving the option to buy a cheaper domain I guess...
