Been looking at buying a site, what do people think it's worth?

- Created January
- Traffic steadily increasing since then (Almost all Organic) - 1,800 in October
- Moz Domain: Domain Authority 20, 35 Linking Domains, 270 Inbound Links, 232 Ranking Keywords
- Quality content and articles on the site
- He's provided Read-Only Google Analytics access, not sure if there's anything key to check in here?

The seller is asking $600, which I think is a little on the high side. Thoughts?

what is the purpose of this website for you? what will you do with it? I mean it will be just for fun or you wanna make somm' money?
 
I think it's a little bit expensive, but it's your decision.

Ideally make some bank in the long term! It's generating a few $ a month via adsense currently.

These are the traffic numbers from October:

Users 1,838
Pages/Session 1.35
Avg Session: 00:00:48
Bounce Rate: 83.23%

Bounce rate is on the high side IMO but I'm no expert.
 
I believe that if you are interested in that niche of the website, you can be proactive with the development of this website. Meanwhile, if you are not that interested you can start your own website from the scratch where you will learn all the process. This process in the future can be used for a better understanding of all the back end of building a website.
 
So far, it's a domain name. Does the site have a revenue history?

Hoping you figure out how you will make money later down the line, is not a plan.

If you do not have a plan of how you would make money with the site BEFORE you buy it, you should not buy it.
 
Like said by others, If you are from the same niche then you know what you can do.
 
Save the $600.

Build your own and learn.
 
Seems a little high but it’s up to you at the end of the day what’s it worth to you!
