So i want to do a 301 redirect.
i am inside my cpanel and under domains i clicked on redirects button.
now, i want to redirect an old domain to my new domain, in other word domain to domain.
so in the section add redirect i choose following
Type: permament 301
and then in the other box, i choose my domain name (the old one)
but i dont know, what https?://(http://www.)? means its in the box tittle.
next step i write my new domain in the redirects field.
so i write https://www.mynewdomain.com
then i choose redirect with or without www. the i click add.
But here is the thing, i dont know if i did the 301 redirect the right way?
And also when i type my old domain in majestic, i get different results when it comes to the metrics, in other word citationflow and trust flow are different. when i put in
- http://myolddomain.com
and
- myolddomain.com
so in the first one http://myolddomain.com this one has more backlinks and higher metrics than the other one.
do i have to do 2 seperate redirects for this two variation of the old domain name

and then also redirect
2- myolddomain.com
how do i do it, plz help
And also, when will i see the effects of the 301 redirect, what i mean am i going to see backlinks showing up inside my linkprofile of the new website? and how long will it take?
