Hey, im new to torrents.

I know how to create a torrent, but i don't know whats really important.

Questions:
1. What is the ratio? What does it mean?
2. Which trackers and what do trackers do?
3. Where to upload the torrents (i need many peers)

1. Ratio - is this some thing some trackers use for thier users, to show ratio of downloads to uploads. Some will restrict based on it. But I would not worry about that.
2. Trackers - These are the places that will track your torrent and how people find it and connects to peers for downloading.
3. Where to upload - you can upload to any tracker, just search g for torrent tracker, register and upload.

1.) Ratio means ratio of uploaders:downloaders. The uploaders are called seeders, downloaders are called leechers.

2.) Trackers track different users [both seeds and leechs] and help connect them together so they can download a file.

3.) Upload Torrents at major site like tpb etc. If you have a healthy torrent up, it will spread to other sites easily within 24 hours.

From my experience it will be less than 12 hours or so. this stat is from thepiratebay.

Just another question :
Is it illegal to upload fake files? (for example new movie, and for the password they need to download a file from sharecash)

And what consequences do i have to expect?

Why don't you upload legit files and redirect users to some offers related to the download you just provided ? It would increase conversion rates i think.
