whats happened - google up then down

my website is 1.5-2 months old and i have used following methods, some manual article submissions, squidoo websites, yahoo answers and also buying 100 social bookmarks, 750 profile links with pings and then some article submissions with AMR trial (about 2-300 in total , still waiting to see if they are all approved) also some submissions with social monkee for various pages on my site (only 25 links at a time ).

So my site has gone up the ranks for various keywords, some keywords are page 1/2 and others are page 3/4.

But now however i have seen drops of 10, 12, 14 for some keywords while other keywords rise ever so slightly, by 2, 3, 5 maybe. So what is going on, i continue to build links in a natural manner and my ranks are still dropping ? any ideas as i have just ordered a link pyramid and am worried it will damage my ranking ?

You are experiencing the google dance, dont worry everything will be OK in a bit.

just carry on building links, and things will calm down. 1 of my sites used to google dance from #1 page 1 to #8 page 6 depending on which server google was using at the time after i carried on building links it took 6 weeks or so i was #1 full time !
