What's going on with my site?

I've had this site for about a month and a half, built ~15 high PR backlinks, wrote 2 articles. however SEO spyglass picks up 2 links, market samaurai doesnt pick up any. MS shows my site as PR1, but detects no site backlinks or domain backlinks. I built the links about 3 weeks ago, and the sites that the backlinks are on have been updated in the google cache.

I've done the proper on site SEO. Searches per month is 15k, but it doesn't seem accurate judging on what my keyword is.

I used to be ranked at the top of page 3, but for the past 4 days, my site has disappeared from google. I heard new sites sometimes do this, but it has been 4 days... Also, there is a inside post from my site ranking on page 5.

Theres a lot of strange things going on, and I'm hoping some of you veterans here can help me out.

Are you using Google Keyword Tool for you traffic data? If so are you clicking on "exact match". That will give you a better idea of the amount of traffic you will get in the #1, #2, #3 position.

As far as your site dropping out of the rankings, sounds like it is just dancing.

Also do you have Google Analytics on your backend?

I do not have Google Analytics. I will find out how to apply that to my site. Should I put it on the site, or is is like Webmaster Tools where it is offsite?

Also, when I'm looking at Webmaster Tools, it appears all my backlinks are showing up in there, any idea on why it wont show up in SEO spyglass and MS?

Different places report different amount of backlinks.
Also different places report different backlinks.
When YSE was still reasonable, it would only count a few Web 2.0's.
When I check my sites in the backlink checkers I get differences of thousands of links.

All that matters is the rankings.

Stop watching your backlinks grow, and grow more backlinks.
