What loads your webpage faster than a web hosting? I've never experienced with anything else. I have heard VPS does this but, I want to read the replies.

Or maybe, is there any web hosting that is really fast?

for me cassual blog 5-15k/day visitor Digital Ocean are good, for 50k+/day visitor im using Oneprovider

and dont forget to set monthly backup if using vps :)

Optimized webseite
As little request as possible
Low latency connection
Server Cluster for smooth delivery if there are to many visitors

Hardware/Server wise:
VPS could also be shit if the hoster oversells their servers.
For guaranteed fast loading speed grab an dedicated server within your region or country
(as an example if you are from Netherlands grab an server from Netherlands)

It comes too expensive doing that. Purchasing from greece in web services is pricy, instead of buying from Poland for example that provides too cheap services.

Also, why does it matter to be my country the place where I will by the services?

Just buy a server in NL and set it up properly... And you are set for the whole EU region with good loading speeds. I have one in Romania and it works just fine as well. For US I have other server but you can also use CDN for that.

If your visitors are from greece, go with greece

The reason is latency. If the server is nearby you request "travels less"

You can try it yourself. Open Speedtest.net and select the nearest server. Run the test.

After that, select an server from South Africa. Run the test again and compare both results

+1 for Digital Ocean. Been using them for a while, won't bother with anything else now. Good cost, performance and flexibility

Big guy here. What do you doin mate

1. Most of the speed depends on web host.
2. Then Your site
3. then Your codes inside the site

I am using Namecheap stellar plus and so far it is ok experience

And even faster? Time when I look the clock and it's 06:00 in the morning...

Anyway we are getting off-topic, I think I'm gonna go with Digital Ocean or OVH, both sound great

Faster then webhosting? hmmm Time when i was in school. I wake up from sleep at 7am and i sleep for 10 minutes and wake up and when i see the clock it is 7.55

Both are cheap options. I have used OVH in the past. just a word of caution if you are not 100% familiar with running a VPS: their support is not very good, they expect you to know most of the stuff. But they are cheap, so a good option.

I've always had that question. Does blogspot loads faster than a VPS Wordpress (for example) page?
