Just wondering as per above. It seems like quite a lot of youtubers are promoting it and it seems simple enough to use. What are the downsides associated with using such a tool ?

As far as I know, the 2.0 version is just more of the stuff that made the first one a seller. The question should then be what is that right?

When the first version came out I got an email so I remember reading some reviews to see the premise as these tools are based on things I could do myself by hand.

The big idea: Find broken links on YouTube and Wikipedia (or whatever sites they may have now) and register that site and now you have links coming in that already exist.

The problem:
  1. Aren't these all no-follow links anyways?
  2. Why couldn't you, at least for Wikipedia, just search using google for dead link text and edit the resources you point at your now valid resource which is related? I mean, I realize it needs approval whereas the original site must have been approved as a valid resource.
  3. Are these links really all that valuable? It's not like it has a do-follow from a big newspaper or something.
I do like that their system does the searching vs running the tool locally. I just don't see that much of a gain. I guess there is technically traffic that could occur if that site that used to exist is yours. Perhaps it helps to find sites that have other dead links and are a good expired domain?
