Whats everyones advice

Hi all

We have a £12.99 cleaning product (stain remover) that we are trying to sell.
Tried meta and google ads but not really getting many sales. Have spent around£50/day on advertising and only really getting around 4 sales.
I'm looking to see how others would tackle it.
Any ideas?
There are a lot of searches for a similar products around 22k per month in the UK, I've started SEO but I really think we are around 4-6 months away before we get on the front page.
Any tips and tricks for fast-tracking low priced items?

Did you hired anyone to do your Ads for you? Since there are a lot of things that go behind google ads or Meta Ads for it to be a successful campaign.
You should hire a professional to guide you in the ad process.

We have had 1 guy in who we weren't very impressed with. Burnt a lot of money and didn't do anything different from us. Can you recommend anyone?

Sorry, but you should try to hire through the section "Hire A Freelancer" and make sure you do your due diligence before hiring someone. Just a suggestion "hire them on commission basis. Just tell them you will give them a percentage of sale of the product." Make it such that you also profit from the sale of product after the ads cost and his costs.

Try advertising via other networks that are not as big as FB and Google. I see a lot of people on the forum mentioning networks like Ezoic, Monumetric, Mediavine, Adthrive, etc. and - while these networks are always being mentioned as money makers - they can probably also be joined as Advertiser so you can advertise on other people's websites (similarly to how Adsense works)...

You could also try joining networks like CJ.com if you have an affiliate program implemented on your site and let other people promote your products in exchange for a small commission (5-10%).

Last but not least, try your luck with offline advertising. Sometimes (especially for physical products) striking partnerships with kiosks, second hand stores, or smaller stores / entities in general can yield better results than by selling online. I've worked for an offline company 10 years ago that were selling industrial electronics (PIDs, sensors, thermometers, etc) and - even though the demand was always high for such products - online we were doing poorly because of the big dogs that were dominating the market, so 55-60% of our monthly sales had to come from offline deals that we've had with various clients in the food industry, clothing industry, repair shops, etc...

If you offer them better deals than they can find elsewhere (even if it's 5% reduction in price) you can get more business in that way instead of sinking your money into the dead internet in which the AI had infested every industry and churns our fake profiles that it engages with, donates fake money to them, comments and replies to them, they upvote themselves, etc...

Increase your average cart value.

Have you got any upsells in place?

Have you tried creating content on Instagram or YouTube? You could start by looking up FlexTape and see what they’ve done with their content.

As an ecom brand owner myself, I can definitely vouch for the power of content creation. Also, keep an eye on content from other ecom brands, whether they’re in your niche or not, and see what you can adapt for your own brand. It may take some time, but in the long run, it will boost conversions and help lower your costs.
