I'm looking to target an specific country.
What should I buy?
.com.countrycode or just .countrycode

Let's say I was targeting Mexico
What would be better?
keyword.com.mx or keyword.mx?

Sometimes you need to be in that country or do business in that country to register the countries TLD. However, I believe Mexico does not have this restriction. Just keep in mind what I said for future reference...

I would go with the .com and the .mx and .com.mx and host them on different ip's. You can get away with a lot between the english and spanish language differences in regards to unique content.

I'm kind of tight on budget so I would only be able to create one site.
If I had to choose between .com.mx and .mx to specifically target keywords that are 100% and only searched by mexicans. Which domain holds more seo value on the local (mexican) serp?

Thanks in advance.
By the way, Mexico is just an example as it was the first country code domain that popped into my mind.

well abc.com.mx could probably get google listings as abc.com so maybe that but I would check what's popular in the country.
