Hey guys, and girls I posted in the blackhat section that I've obtained an PR4 site aged 10years+ However I've been asked to keep the site in tact with some lean way. Reposting here as I need to keep it white hat, and I've narrowed it down to some choices but with your guys input I can hopefully choose the right course of action.

I want to boost my money site using that site, now my site is web-related, and his is vintage old stuff lol, and nothing to do with web related services at all lol.

Now my question to you guru's is...

Do I store my link in the footer to outbound 460 pages to my site? or would you add an internal link on the footer to all 460 pages which is linked to an inside article about my site/servers and then with some outbounds on only that page.

So in other terms

a) footer outbound links x 460 pages
b) 460x internal link to my company name.html, then with outbound links to my site..
c) 460 outbound links in footer as well 460x internal links to an article page about my services.

So option A B C :P

comments, flames, suggestions, hatred welcomed :P

IMHO it should be a footer link..

I have seen some great results from those...

Thanks and Regards

I think article links are way better.
It shows google that this site is writing about you.

A footer link can easily be a bought link.

Try and relate the two topics in an article. There's nearly always a way to do this, then link to the article with a site wide link such as footer.

You really should test it. Most SEO professionals including myself think that footer links have been devalued based on the location. Sitewide links typically look like paid links. I would say if you wanted a sitewide link I would recommend getting a blogroll link over a footer link.

Here's an article on SEOMoz about it:
